Thanks to its extraordinary potential, the Olympia proprietary battery integrates excellently with above-average power engines, allowing the vehicle to be used without limitations. An e-bike equipped with a battery like the PowerNine 900 is capable of thrilling every enthusiast, allowing them to fully enjoy the riding experience on any type of route, without the worry of seeing the charge run out and having to find an energy source with a suitable charger.
READY TO “PLANE” EVERY PATH
HAMMER offers cutting-edge technological solutions for enduro-inspired bikers. The new 90 Nm Edge motor by Oli, compact and lightweight, has been optimised for consumption. It is powered by the 900 Wh PowerNine 900 battery, designed by Olympia to obtain more power and autonomy. One of the peculiarities of Hammer is the innovative central suspension with progressive action inserted in the oblique tube, particularly effective on rough descents. The travel is 170 mm.
The T800 monocoque carbon frame is particularly rigid and lightweight thanks to the double-mold EPS construction technology.
The advanced centre of gravity and the shortened chainstay improve the cyclist’s balance on uphill sections. Hammer is offered in a mullet version, with a 27.5″ rear wheel and a 29″ front wheel.
MOTOR
Oli Edge 90Nm
More compact, more powerful. The small size should not deceive: the new New Oli Edge engine expresses 90 Newton/meter, 5 more than the OLI Sport engine, reaching quadruple the force applied to the pedals by the cyclist.
FRAME
Carbon Toray T800 Latex EPS Monocoque Frame and Rear Stay
Carbon at its best, made even safer and more advantageous from a performance point of view. A double mold is used to create the monocoque frame, externally in steel and internally in lattice. This technology allows for perfect control of the smoothness and thickness of the external and internal walls of the frame, eliminating irregularities that can form on the surfaces and thus reducing the risk of delamination or premature stress fractures. The absence of excess resin parts optimizes the weight and rigidity of the structure.
STURDY HEADTUBE
1.5″ – 1.8″
The 1.8 / 1.5 steering is the technological solution adopted by Olympia in the name of harmonious design and structural strength of e-bikes. This standard present in the Hammer model mounts bearings with larger diameter balls and involves the use of a fork with an oversized head, specific for this larger diameter steering tube. The result is increased rigidity, which counteracts the flexion of the fork during work and translates into general stability of the bike: more precision in directionality and an increased feeling of safety when riding. Aesthetics and functionality are combined in the total integration of the wiring inside the headset.
REAR STAY
SUPER BOOST 157MM
The width of the rear triangle brought to 157 millimeters acquires new potential compared to the traditional 148 millimeters. With the Super Boost the e-bike is equipped with greater lateral rigidity resulting more solid and more stable in sudden changes of altitude and in changes of trajectory. The distribution of forces is optimized and, thanks to the greater angle of the spokes, the wheel becomes more resistant to violent stresses without any added weight.
FLIP CHIP
VARY THE SETUP OF YOUR E-BIKE
The Flip Chip located on the link allows you to change the bike’s setup depending on the slope of the terrain and the type of sensitivity you want to give to the shock absorbing system. The rotation of the Flip Chip varies the steering and seat tube opening angle by 0.5°, and on Hammer it also changes the shock absorber compression curve, which can be modulated to obtain more progressivity and grip on the ground when descending, or greater linearity, favoring the push phases.
MAIN AXLE
REINFORCED WITH DOUBLE BEARINGS
The presence of multiple pivot points serving the central shock absorber makes the issue of the robustness of the rear triangle crucial. In the new models, these parts have been strengthened and the rear end has been made extremely stable by working on both the axle near the engine pin and on the rear axle of the triangle. In both cases, the bearings inserted in the pin housings have been doubled on each side. The solidity of the triangle is also contributed to by an internal expansion system which, once tightened, further compacts the entire connection between the triangle and the engine block.
