A season of success and great initiatives

Great satisfaction for G.S. Olympia bikes in 2014. Still at the front, as ever, the impressive grand champion Marzio Deho challenges the years and carries the Olympia colours high. Deho, originally from the Bergamo area, starts well, winning the Perote Bike in Mexico, followed by a stage at the Vuelta in Ibiza; at home he comes first at the Nember Bike and then again at the Dolomiti Lagorai Challenge. The season finale then saw him fly to first place in Malaysia for the tour of Langkawi and then in Mexico for the Popobike.

Impressive performance was also seen from the other team members, including Andrea Dei Tos, Nicola Dalto, Agostino Andreis, Christian Pallaoro, Daniel Boschetto and Andrea Capponi. Among the Masters, Paolo Alverà and the new entry Roberto Capponi also achieved significant results. Lastly, the duo Giovanna Troldi and Valentina Capponi gave their best in the female category, toasting their multiple victories with pride.

And for 2015, there is a new major project in sight: Olympia has signed an agreement with the State Forestry Department, creating the new Olympia Forestry Department team. Members of this team will include the top cyclists in the national Cross Country, such as the twins Daniele and Luca Braidot (the latter currently Italian Champion), the former Italian champion Mirko Tabacchi, Nicholas Pettinà and Alessia Bulleri.
