The powertrain is composed of the Polini Ep3+ GP motor and the PowerSlim6 615 Wh battery
The first electric road bike from Cicli Olympia has been born: it is called Superfast, and the name says it all. Equipped with a first-class powertrain, composed of the Polini E-P3+ GP motor with 80 Nm and the proprietary PowerSlim6 615 Wh battery, the fastest of Olympia’s e-bikes plays its cards openly and guarantees a powerful and perfectly adjustable pedal assist to road enthusiasts who seek the thrill of speed.
Superfast was unveiled simultaneously with Cicli Olympia’s debut as official supplier of the Giro-E Enel 2025, the electric version of the Giro d’Italia. Two teams in the race are riding the Sled, an e-bike designed and built at the Piove di Sacco plant. Among them is the Autostrade per l’Italia team, led by a two-wheels legend: Andrea Tafi, former Italian champion and protagonist of the great classics of the ’90s.
Technology and design for high performance
Thanks to a motor with specific features for high performance, Superfast is ideal both for excursions discovering suggestive mountain panoramas and for fun Saturday morning “rev-ups” with friends. All this with five maps available, to adapt to any situation and riding style and always offer a smooth, pleasant power delivery suited for the best battery management.
The geometries of Superfast have been optimized to give the same riding sensations as a normal road bike. The frame is made with 3 types of Toray carbon: T700, T800, T1000, a lightweight and highly performing material in terms of responsiveness and vibration damping. Its design echoes the typical setup of an endurance road bike. The newly designed battery, extremely compact and shaped with exclusive forms, has allowed the creation of a frame that ensures perfect balance, making Superfast nimble and fully controllable in trajectory changes.
The high capacity/volume ratio places the Powerslim6 battery at the top of this product category.
The assistance management provided by the powertrain is done through the display integrated in the horizontal tube, in a protected and ergonomic position.
The integrated aluminum handlebar with internal cable routing guarantees an essential line and a clean and attractive cockpit.
The standard Superfast setup includes the Shimano 105 2×12 speed groupset, available in both electronic (Di2) and mechanical versions.
The Fulcrum 900 wheels are equipped with 36’’ tires, an ideal size to make the bike comfortable and, at the same time, manage the motor’s power well on fast roads.
Superfast is produced in sizes S, M, and L, in black and white color.
The retail price: €6,149 for the Shimano 105 Di2 version and €5,399 for the Shimano 105 mechanical version.
