The Tuscan rider, multi-time motocross and enduro champion, is the new Olympia ambassador
He’s an ace in motocross and enduro, but when it comes to training, he loves jumping on an e-MTB and hitting the most technical and daring trails with his friends. That’s how the partnership between Samuele Bernardini and Olympia was born — from the need to provide an off-road champion with a powerful, agile e-MTB built to handle even the toughest challenges. Samuele’s eyes fell on the Murdok, and it was love at first sight.
“For those who practice my sport, cycling is a great way to stay fit. Even with an electric bike, if you want to, you can really push yourself — especially on certain routes,” says Samuele. “My first impressions of the Murdok were more than positive, both for its excellent battery and motor performance and for the way the frame, geometry, and suspension have been designed. I think Olympia has truly created a great product. I’m sure this e-MTB will deliver plenty of fun.”
Last year, Samuele took part in the Tembaine Desert Rally, a six-day adventure known as the Dakar of e-bikes. It was an intense and exciting experience — one he’ll most likely repeat this November, aboard his new Murdok.

Samuele Bernardini, born on February 8, 1995, in Cortona (Arezzo), is an Italian rider who has successfully reinvented himself within the international off-road scene. He began his career in motocross in 2008, winning the Italian Junior Championship. The following year, he claimed both the European Supercross Championship and the Italian Supercross Championship in the 125cc class. In 2014, at just 19 years old, he won the EMX300 European Championship, showcasing his remarkable talent. He later competed in the MX2 World Championship, finishing eighth overall in 2016. In 2019, he became Italian Elite MX1 Champion with the Ghidinelli Yamaha team.
In 2020, Samuele decided to switch disciplines, moving from motocross to enduro. In 2021, he made his debut in both the EnduroGP World Championship and the Italian Assoluti d’Italia Championship, taking third place in the E1 class and earning the title of “Rookie of the Year.” In 2022, he further improved his results, finishing second in the Italian Championship (450 4T class) and fifth in the EnduroGP World Championship (E2 class). In 2023, he placed fifth again in the E2 class of the World EnduroGP.
In 2024, he achieved second place in the EnduroGP World Championship (E2 class), consolidating his status among the top riders in the discipline. In 2025, at the Six Days of Enduro (ISDE), he contributed to Italy’s victory in the World Trophy and took second place in the Enduro World Championship E2 class. He currently competes with the Honda RedMoto team, continuing to excel on the international enduro stage.

Murdok is a carbon-frame e-MTB designed to thrill riders with a more adrenaline-fueled enduro style. The T800 monocoque carbon frame draws inspiration from the Hammer, one of the cornerstones of Olympia’s electric range. The propulsion system features the Polini E-P3+ MX motor delivering 90 Nm of torque, paired with the new Olympia PowerSlim 8 battery with 820 Wh capacity. The central suspension has a progressive action and offers 180 mm of travel, matching the front suspension, to ensure smooth and consistent performance even on the roughest terrain.
