THE COLOMBIAN LEONARDO PAEZ JOINS THE 2016 OLYMPIA POLIMEDICAL TEAM

It's official and it is with great pride that we bring you this news: the strong Colombian athlete Hector Leonardo Paez has joined the Olympia Polimedical team.

Leo Paez is one of the strongest marathon specialists in the world, third at the 2015 Marathon World Championship, with many trophies under his belt, including his three Sellaronda Hero victories. The Colombian immediately celebrated joining the Olympia Polimedical team with a nice home victory in the XC “Homenaje a la Virgen” (Colombia).

“I have a lot of faith in my new team – said Paez – and was delighted by the warm welcome I received at Olympia Polimedical. I am training also for the XC, because one of my objectives in 2016 is to take part in the Olympic Games in Rio; the greatest dream in every athlete’s career”.

Paez, like all athletes in the Olympia Polimedical team, will have an Olympia 849 bike to train on the road and a BULLET 29” or an IRON 29” depending on the type of race or terrain.

All Olympia Polimedical team bikes feature the new Vittoria Graphene tyres, some athletes also use the Victoria special tyres; Fox forks and suspensions, Ritchey and PMP components, SRAM group sets and Selle Italia saddles.

Great news for Cicli Olympia: if all goes as well as we hope, no less than three Olympia bikes will be at the XC starting line at Rio’s Olympic Games in 2016!
