Murdok reached the top step of the World Championship podium. The dream became reality in the stunning setting of Breuil-Cervinia, which hosted one of the most anticipated events of the season: the Italian Grand Prix of the FIM E-Bike Enduro World Cup alongside the Italian E-Bike Championship. As the final round of the World Cup calendar, the Aosta Valley event crowned the champions of the premier international E-Bike Enduro competition.
Three intense and spectacular days of racing saw the world’s best e-riders take on the technical trails of the Cervinia Bike Park, beneath the iconic Matterhorn. Among the standout performers was Filippo Colarusso, who claimed the FIM E1 World Championship title aboard his Olympia Murdok, equipped with the Polini E-P3+ EVO2 motor and the Olympia PowerSlim 8 820 Wh battery, completing an outstanding season.
The Team Snep-Olympia rider built his title-winning campaign with victory in the opening round at Aprica and a second-place finish in Baunei, Sardinia, results that secured him the top spot in the overall World Cup standings. He also dominated the Italian Championship, claiming his fifth victory in as many races in the E1 category at Cervinia to further strengthen his championship lead. His success is the result of exceptional riding skills, outstanding physical preparation and a reliable partner in Murdok, a bike that truly comes into its own when the trails become more demanding.
The rest of the Team Snep-Olympia riders also delivered impressive performances. Diego Calistri finished second in the Italian Championship’s EM category, while also securing sixth place overall in the World Cup and fifth in the E1 “250W Code” category. Federico Ciucci also stepped onto the Italian Championship podium, taking third place in the ES category.
The Cervinia races pushed both riders and bikes to their limits, featuring more than 40 kilometres of highly technical trails, seven special stages and elevation ranging from 2,000 to 2,800 metres above sea level. It was a demanding test that required exceptional technical ability, physical endurance and careful management of electric assistance, ultimately rewarding the very best riders in the discipline.
Claudia Peretti Finishes Fourth at the European Marathon Championship
Last weekend also brought an impressive fourth-place finish for Claudia Peretti at the European Marathon Championship, following a race in which she consistently remained among the front-runners. Missing out on the podium is always disappointing, but the Olympia Factory Team‘s Italian Champion honoured her national title with determination, strength and resilience, staying in contention for a medal until the closing stages. The podium may have slipped away this time, but her performance confirmed once again that she belongs among the leading athletes in international marathon racing.
